Afropunk Fesitival

Saturday July 12, many gathered to hear some good music and enjoy a beautiful day in Brooklyn. The crowd was as diverse as the performers, from young to old, all being moved by the music of John Forte, Maiysha, Shinobi Ninja & Joya Bravo.

What better day than to close out the day’s events with a dance break in Fort Greene. The movers breaking it down to the beats of the local artists and djs. The streets were full of onlookers cheering on the dancers, some joining in to showcase their talent. The Afropunk annual festival and block party is alway a must see, this year was no different.
