Dear friends and supporters,

First I would like to apologize for the long and unexplained hiatus. It first began as a much needed time off to re-evaluate inCOLOR, regroup, redesign and relaunch fresher and better than before, still serving up the unheard or lightly heard artists of color that we promised from our inception. Unfortunately due to some recent legal trademark issue with the name inCOLOR the site will be closing. To be honest it is not fair to put the entire blame for the site shutdown on the trademark issue. For some time now there has been a stall in deciding to move forward. Now the shutdown may not be forever and if we do decide to return it will no longer be under name inCOLOR but hopefully we will maintain the purpose we set out to accomplish. We are currently working to preserve the links to the articles so that the hard work of those who contributed to the site as well as those featured would not be lost.
